Job Description
Join our team for a hands-on internship focused on digital advertising and sports media. You’ll assist with sales planning, campaign management, and strategic insights, gaining exposure to real projects that drive revenue and audience engagement. This role offers the chance to work on live campaigns, analyze performance data, and contribute to innovative outreach strategies.
A snapshot of your responsibilities:
- Assist with sales planning by preparing digital advertising reports, supporting campaign setup, and maintaining programming schedules.
- Contribute to campaign management by tracking campaign performance, monitoring sponsorship elements, and supporting optimization efforts.
- Support sales strategy and insights by maintaining advertiser and agency contacts, gathering sales data, and exploring new outreach strategies.
- Provide administrative support through organizing files, attending meetings, and taking notes.
- Complete a final project: develop and present a media plan and marketing proposal for a Bay Area advertiser in the AI category.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program. Spring 2026 graduates are not eligible for our Summer 2026 internship program.
- Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
- Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future to retain authorization to work in the United States.
- Must be available to work 16 to 24 hours per week from June 1 – August 7, 2026.
- Must be willing to work in San Francisco, California.
Desired Characteristics
- Students with a class standing of junior or above preferred.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
- Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Windows Office, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Knowledge of Bay Area sports, television, media and/or digital streaming (a plus)
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain operational standards
- Strong written, verbal, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to interface maturely with all levels of management and participate in strategic initiatives
- Ability to work effectively under deadlines and extreme pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and multi-tasking abilities

- Hybrid: This position has been designed as hybrid, generally contributing from the San Francisco office a minimum of three days per week. Our in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

Compensation: The hourly rate for this internship is $19.18 per hour.
