Job Description
Role Purpose:
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting financial reporting of scripted and non-scripted productions, ensuring adherence to NBC policies. This role is also responsible for maintaining disciplined oversight of production budgets.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare production budgets and identify key financial risks and assumptions.
- Prepare production forecasts and dashboards for production leadership and finance executives
- Track and analyze actual spend versus approved budgets
- Identify financial risks and opportunities and recommend solutions to prevent budget overages
- Support monthly and quarterly close processes, cash pacing and production cost reporting
- Prepare monthly Programming Liability and Production Entertainment trackers for Content Programming team
- Prepare journal entries and reconciliations, as required
- Review and process payments in accordance with contractual terms
- Process third‑party billings in accordance with contractual terms and agreements.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, workflows, documentation standards, and ad-hoc reporting requirements
- Partner with Production, Production Management, HR, Legal, IT, EHS, Operations & Technology, Compliance, Controllership, and Sourcing to support operational needs
- Provide ad hoc analysis, as needed
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience within Finance/Accounting field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the Finance television production field (preferred)
- Must be fluent in Spanish (speak, read & write)
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or other related fields
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experienced in using financial/accounting software and applications
- Hybrid Office environment (4 days in the office per week)

Additional Requirements:
