Job Description
Company Description
Nearmap gives governments, businesses, and built environment professionals access to high-resolution aerial imagery and property intelligence that powers better decisions. Operating across Australia, the US, Canada, and Poland, we’re a fast-moving, commercially driven technology company with a global footprint and a clear mission: making location intelligence accessible, accurate, and actionable
Job Description
About the Role
Reporting to the VP, Finance and Strategy, the Procurement Manager will own and execute Nearmap’s day-to-day procurement operations across our four-country operation. This is a hands-on, execution-focused individual contributor role — you’ll be in the detail, managing contracts, running vendor negotiations, and keeping our procurement engine running smoothly as we scale our property intelligence platform globally.
You won’t be setting high-level strategy or building a team. You’ll be doing the work — owning vendor relationships, managing renewals, processing contracts, and building the operational infrastructure that keeps procurement moving at pace in a high-growth tech environment.
If you’re someone who gets satisfaction from being across the details, driving commercial outcomes through disciplined execution, and bringing order to complex vendor landscapes, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
Vendor Contract Management & Negotiations
- Own and manage all software and SaaS license renewals, maintaining a centralised data library of existing agreements including renewal dates, values, and key terms
- Execute negotiations with vendors to secure favourable commercial terms and cost savings on software subscriptions
- Partner with Legal to review and negotiate contract terms covering pricing, service levels, and termination clauses; work with the contracts manager to support the RFX bid and submission process
- Coordinate with Enterprise Systems and IT on technical and licensing requirements during vendor selection and renewals
- Process vendor onboarding end-to-end, ensuring compliance with company policies and delegation of authority
Procurement Operations & Governance
- Execute procurement workflows for vendor selection, contract approval, and renewal management across Australia, US, Canada, and Poland
- Maintain procurement metrics and dashboards for executive reporting, tracking savings, compliance, and process improvements
- Manage contract storage and documentation, keeping the vendor register accurate and up to date
- Administer procurement policies and standard vendor contract terms on a day-to-day basis
- Monitor and action vendor renewals proactively to prevent unreviewed auto-renewals
Compliance & Risk Management
- Apply and maintain compliance practices and procedures for vendor procurement across all jurisdictions
- Conduct vendor risk assessments and due diligence on new suppliers
- Coordinate with Legal on contract disputes, vendor performance issues, and termination procedures
- Support audit activities related to procurement and vendor management
Systems & Process Support
- Support the implementation and ongoing administration of the Purchase Order system in NetSuite, including processing approvals and maintaining workflows
- Identify and flag opportunities for vendor consolidation and process improvements
- Collaborate with Finance Operations on accounts payable and PO/receipt/invoice matching
- Assist FP&A and commercial finance with vendor spend data and reporting for budget planning

- Hands-on experience with procurement or ERP systems — NetSuite experience highly valued
- Background in a fast-paced, high-growth technology or property intelligence environment preferred
Highly Valued
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a high volume of contracts and renewals simultaneously
