Are you ready to discover the role of a Senior Cloudera Administrator in Netcompany?
We are looking for a Senior Cloudera Administrator to manage and optimize our enterprise Cloudera-based big data platform supporting analytics, data engineering, and mission-critical data workloads. This role is responsible for Cloudera platform administration, Hadoop ecosystem operations, cluster performance, platform security, and production support. The ideal candidate is a hands-on expert with deep experience running Cloudera clusters in large enterprise environments.
As a Senior Cloudera Administrator you will:
- Administer and support Cloudera CDP/CDH clusters using Cloudera Manager
- Manage core Hadoop ecosystem services including HDFS, YARN, Hive, Impala, Spark, Kafka, HBase, ZooKeeper, Hue
- Monitor cluster health, performance, and capacity; implement tuning and optimization
- Manage platform upgrades, patching, and maintenance
- Configure and maintain Kerberos authentication, TLS encryption, and LDAP/AD integration
- Manage user access, permissions, and governance
- Troubleshoot production issues across distributed data platform components
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high availability configurations
- Automate operational tasks using Shell, Python, or automation tools
- Support data engineering teams with platform onboarding and operational support
- Maintain documentation, operational runbooks, and platform standards
- Participate in production support and incident management processes
Qualifications
What would make you a fit for the role:
- 5+ years administering Hadoop / Cloudera platforms
- Strong experience with Cloudera Manager, CDP, or CDH
- Hands-on experience with HDFS, YARN, Hive, Impala, Spark, Kafka
- Strong Linux administration (RHEL/Oracle Linux)
- Experience implementing Kerberos, LDAP/AD integration, and platform security
- Scripting and automation using Bash or Python
- Experience supporting enterprise production environments
- Cloudera platforms deployed in AWS, Azure, or GCP
- DevOps and automation tools ( Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Git)
- Containerization exposure ( Docker, Kubernetes)
- Monitoring and observability tools ( Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk)
- Cloudera certifications
- Experience in large-scale enterprise or regulated environments
