Job Description
Are you ready to join the forefront of technology as a Senior Database Developer in Netcompany?
As a Senior Database Developer you will:
- Design, develop, and optimize relational databases and data stores, ensuring efficient integration with software components and systems.
- Implement database solutions that align with user experience guidelines for data-driven applications.
- Identify and mitigate known security vulnerabilities in database systems, applying security by design principles.
- Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for database structures and processes.
- Provide advanced technical support for database components and resolve complex data-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues prior to and following testing phases
Qualifications
What would make you a fit for the role:
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience
- Adherence to database development standards and best practices.
- Solid understanding of database and application security.
- Proficiency in RDBMS and writing complex queries using native SQL.
- Experience with database scripting and automation (e.g., PL/SQL, T-SQL, or similar).
- Familiarity with APIs and data integration technologies.
- Ability to interpret and work with analysis and architectural documents (HLD, LLD, BPMN, UML, etc.).
- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices for database development and deployment.
Technical certifications (one of the following):
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, Oracle Certified Professional, or similar.
- Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer Expert.
- ServiceNow® Certified Application Developer or Specialist (if applicable).
- Any other technology certifications relevant to database development.
