Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, test, and support integration flows, including SWIFT MT/MX message processing. You will work with IBM ACE, ITX, and MQ to ensure smooth system integrations and reliable message-exchange operations.
As a Senior Software Engineer (Integration Systems), you will:
- Analyse systems, requirements, and integration interfaces, including SWIFT flows
- Design, develop, test, and deploy message flows (ACE & ITX)
- Troubleshoot production issues and support root-cause analysis
- Document integration solutions and deployment steps
- Provide support for IBM ACE, ITX, IBM MQ, and WSO2 Micro‑Integrator
- Coordinate issue resolution with middleware vendors
- Participate in failover and disaster recovery tests
- Automate tasks using Ansible and Azure DevOps
Qualifications
What would make you a fit for the role:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree with minimum 5+ years of development experience with IBM ACE or IBM Integration Bus, WebSphere, Message Broker, ITX, MQ, and WSO2 Micro‑Integrator
- Understanding of SWIFT messaging (MT/MX) and financial message flows
- Experience with IBM MQ V9 and message-based integrations
- Experience writing DML and DDL queries for Oracle, Sybase and MongoDB database management systems
- Familiarity with Linux-based deployment environments
- Knowledge of DevOps and automation tools (Ansible, Azure DevOps pipelines)
- Experience developing web services using the following standards: XML (XMLNS, XSD, XPATH, JAXB) / JSON (Swagger), Web Services (SOAP, REST), WS-Security, TLS (for HTTPS and TCP/IP connections), JMS, SAML & JWT tokens (for authentication)
- Strong communication skills in English
