Job Description
We are looking for a Technical Lead to oversee, maintain, and optimise our integration platforms (IBM ACE, ITX, MQ, WSO2). You will ensure system stability, lead troubleshooting efforts, document solutions, and support automation and upgrades. This role suits an experienced integration specialist who enjoys problem-solving and technical leadership.
As a Technical Lead (Integration Systems), you will:
- Manage and maintain IBM ACE, ITX, MQ Series, and WSO2 Micro‑Integrator
- Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents related to ESB services
- Perform root-cause analysis and implement preventive measures
- Monitor platform performance, availability, and system health
- Document architecture, configurations, and operational procedures
- Coordinate with middleware vendors and support teams for issue resolution
- Execute middleware upgrades, patches, and environment maintenance
- Support failover and disaster recovery exercises
- Contribute to automation initiatives using Ansible & Azure DevOps
Qualifications
What would make you a fit for the role:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree with minimum 5+ years of experience with IBM ACE or IBM Integration Bus, WebSphere Message Broker, ITX, MQ, and WSO2 Micro‑Integrator
- Solid understanding of Linux environments and system administration
- Experience with IBM MQ V9 and message-based integrations, knowledge of integration patterns, messaging, and service-oriented architecture
- Proven experience in ESB / middleware troubleshooting and performance monitoring
- Experience writing DML and DDL queries for Oracle, Sybase and MongoDB database management systems
- Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Azure DevOps pipelines)
- Experience developing web services using the following standards: XML (XMLNS, XSD, XPATH, JAXB) / JSON (Swagger), Web Services (SOAP, REST), WS-Security, TLS (for HTTPS and TCP/IP connections), JMS, SAML & JWT tokens (for authentication)
- Ability to lead and guide technical teams, strong communication skills in English and ability to create technical guides
