Job Description
Are you ready to discover the role of a Web Application Developer in Netcompany?
As a Web Application Developer, you will:
- Collaborate with the ICT Service Delivery team to design, develop, and maintain user-centric web applications that enhance digital services.
- Develop and maintain web interfaces using low-code platforms (OutSystems or Mendix), React, and JavaScript.
- Apply UX/UI best practices to deliver intuitive, responsive, and accessible web solutions.
- Ensure web applications align with internal technical standards and user experience guidelines.
- Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather, refine, and validate functional requirements.
- Contribute to the development of new digital solutions while ensuring the stability of existing systems.
- Support the deployment, testing, and troubleshooting of existing Java and PHP applications.
- Build and deploy Java/PHP code as part of the software release process.
- Investigate, test, and resolve issues in Java/PHP applications in collaboration with the core development team.
Qualifications
What would make you a fit for the role:
- A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, followed by at least 8 years of relevant professional experience, OR a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, followed by at least 12 years of relevant professional experience.
- Excellent command of English (minimum working level), both written and spoken.
- Proven experience in web application development, including both frontend and backend environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with low-code platforms such as OutSystems or Mendix.
- Solid expertise in React and JavaScript for modern frontend development.
- Experience supporting and maintaining Java and PHP applications, including deployment and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with software release management processes, including code building and deployment.
- Experience working with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Good understanding of application lifecycle management and DevOps practices.
