Network Optix

We founded Network Optix (Nx) in 2010 to develop software that turns video into useful information. Our main product is Nx EVOS (Enterprise Video Operating System), a platform that brings together intelligent video with AI-powered data. Nx EVOS helps you build, integrate, and deploy smart video solutions, offering APIs, SDKs, and an open-source client. It’s built to scale from local devices to cloud infrastructure.

Nx EVOS is the base for our ready-to-use products, including Nx Witness VMS and Nx Go. Nx Witness VMS handles video management and analytics for surveillance. We first unveiled version 1.0 in 2012, and in 2017, we launched the world’s first cloud-based VMS. Nx Go is designed for mobile surveillance and analytics, especially for the transportation industry.

Our software is used in 190 countries, managing over 4 million devices. We specialize in video, software, and network video, including compression, forensics, IP video, cloud services, and VMS. We also work with AI model pipelines and AI accelerator tools.

Network Optix has grown from 30 to over 200 employees, now totaling between 201 and 500 individuals. The leadership team includes Nathan Wheeler (CEO & Co-Founder), Suzanne Pilkington (Chief Financial Officer), Dwight Linden (SVP Operations), and James Cox (SVP Business Development).
