Senior Optimizely (headless/SaaS) Backend Developer – Remote (India) | Contract Role

Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement robust backend solutions, including custom modules, templates, and API endpoints using .NET Core / C#
- Build headless CMS APIs via REST or Optimizely Content Graph GraphQL
- Integrate with third-party services (e.g., payments, CRM, CDP, DAM)
- Design and implement performance optimizations, caching strategies, CDN usage, database tuning
- Ensure system reliability and security (CI/CD, RBAC, GDPR/SOC2 compliance, blue/green deployments)
- Participate in architectural decisions, code reviews, and mentor junior developers
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–8+ years backend software development; 3+ years hands-on with Optimizely CMS/Commerce SaaS
- Strong in .NET Core / C#, ASP.NET MVC, REST, GraphQL API design
- Headless CMS architecture and integration with front-end frameworksSolid experience with SQL Server, ORM tools, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes
- Familiarity with performance tuning, caching, CDN, SEO, accessibility, analytics tools (GA4, Core Web Vitals)
- Excellent problem-solving, architecture design, communication, mentoring, stakeholder collaboration
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Optimizely Certifications (CMS)
- Experience with Optimizely Experimentation / Personalization / Web SDK
- Knowledge of Container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), Jamstack, GraphQL webhooks
