Your role:
- Assisting in posting and maintaining journal entries in Nexo’s accounting system.
- Supporting the review of journal entries and account balances for accuracy and consistency.
- Assisting in month-end reconciliation processes, including: bank statements to General Ledger (GL); accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions; bank settlements and related-party transactions; card-processed transactions reconciled to GL.
- Organizing and reviewing supporting documentation (supplier invoices, receipts, contracts, etc.).
- Assisting in identifying and resolving discrepancies under the guidance of senior team members.
- Supporting the preparation of internal reports.
- Collaborating with Finance, Payments, and Treasury teams to gain hands-on exposure to financial operations in a fast-growing fintech environment.
What makes you stand out:
- Final-year student or recent graduate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong interest in accounting and financial operations.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (knowledge of IFRS is a plus).
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Analytical mindset and willingness to learn.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Good knowledge of Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is considered an advantage but not required.
