Your role:

Assist with security monitoring and incident triage under supervision.

• Support vulnerability management activities (scanning, tracking, remediation follow-up).
• Help maintain and review security policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Participate in risk assessments, audits, or compliance activities (e.g., ISO, SOC, GDPR support).
• Assist with access reviews, asset inventory, and basic identity management tasks.
• Support security awareness initiatives and internal communications.
• Conduct research on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security best practices.
• Help prepare reports, dashboards, and metrics for internal stakeholders.

What makes you stand out:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Security, IT, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of:
  • Cybersecurity fundamentals (CIA triad, common threats).
  • Networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP).
  • Operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and follow security best practices.

Preferred qualifications (nice to have):

• Familiarity with security tools (e.g., SIEM, vulnerability scanners, EDR, cloud security).
• Basic scripting or programming knowledge (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Coursework or labs related to security, networking, or systems.
• Personal interest in cybersecurity (CTFs, labs, certifications, home labs).
