So, what’s the role all about?
The Software Engineer in Test designs, develops, tests, and maintains the NiCE software platform. This role involves working across all tiers of the NiCE technology, including designing and developing tests for NiCE CXone products and features, performing manual testing to validate functionality, usability, and quality, conducting functional and load testing, and participating in code reviews. The engineer is responsible for resolving test defects encountered during the Software Development Life cycle, supporting lab and production environments, and collaborating with other engineers in a team environment that utilizes agile development processes.
About the team:
The End-to-End Testing team is dedicated to ensuring product quality and reliability across the suite by validating features from a holistic, customer-centric perspective. Our work spans E2E feature testing, maintaining lab stability, certifying new production environments, and supporting smooth release deployments.
A key focus is providing confidence that integrated features, environments, and releases work seamlessly - reducing risk, ensuring stability, and enabling predictable outcomes for both customers and internal stakeholders. This is especially critical for organizations scaling complex solutions, where reliability and consistency across environments directly impact customer experience and operational success.
By combining rigorous testing practices, proactive lab support, and disciplined certification processes, the End-to-End Testing team ensures that releases are stable, environments are dependable, and the overall ecosystem performs at its highest potential.
How will you make an impact?
Execute comprehensive end-to-end feature testing to validate functionality and customer experience across the suite.
Maintain and improve lab stability to provide reliable environments for testing, certification, and troubleshooting.
Certify new production environments to ensure readiness, reliability, and alignment with business and customer needs.
Support smooth and predictable release deployments by identifying risks early and validating integrated solutions.
Apply automation, monitoring, and best practices to improve test efficiency, environment health, and release confidence.
Collaborate across teams to provide transparency, actionable insights, and confidence in the overall ecosystem’s performance.
Drive innovation by researching, recommending, and integrating new technologies
Have you got what it takes?
Knowledge of quality practices and policies
3+ years of experience in QA/Automation
The wide perspective of complex product solutions (business, technical, architecture)
Experience in test design and execution for complex systems (manual and automation). Deep understanding of QA methodologies
Comprehensive experience working in an Agile development process
Hands-on experience in Playwright, Java/JS or other OO language. Experience with writing SQL queries
Fluent in English
