About the Role
Ontra is seeking a Legal Resourcing Manager to join our growing Legal Network Success team. This is a mission-critical role at the center of how we deliver high-quality, scalable legal support to our customers.
In this role, you’ll manage and resource Ontra’s global network of lawyers, partnering closely with internal teams to deliver an exceptional, human-in-the-loop customer experience. You’ll play a key role in strategically matching lawyers to engagements, balancing speed, quality, and fit, while collaborating with both lawyers and internal stakeholders to support evolving customer needs.
On a typical day, you might speak with lawyers across our Legal Network, manage incoming staffing requests, collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, and Strategy on upcoming launches or demand, and analyze resourcing data to identify trends that inform staffing and recruiting decisions.
As you grow in the role, you’ll take on greater ownership across multiple product lines and regions, directly contribute to department-wide OKRs, and become a trusted cross-functional partner helping shape Ontra’s broader Legal Network and resourcing strategy. If you’re highly organized, thrive in fast-paced environments, and enjoy combining data-driven decision-making with relationship-focused work, we’d love to get to know you!
What You’ll Do
- Staffing Management: Oversee and respond to incoming staffing requests from clients, ensuring timely and appropriate lawyer placements. Efficiently match lawyers to projects, considering the skills and availability of attorneys to ensure an optimal fit for the needs of clients and the firm.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with various internal teams, such as product and revenue operations, to enhance the lawyer and customer experience.
- Data Analysis: Analyze resourcing data to identify patterns and trends, utilizing insights to inform and improve recruiting and staffing strategies.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify enhancements to apps and processes, contributing ideas to improve and automate the overall resourcing and staffing workflow.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience in resourcing, recruitment, data analytics or a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, Sigma, Gainsight, and Excel is highly desirable.
- Workflow & Ownership Mindset: Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously while working autonomously with a high level of ownership and accountability.
- Timezone Flexibility: Ability to work in EST to effectively manage the customer base in the US and EMEA, with some flexibility. Prior experience working with internal and/or external stakeholders based in Europe & Asia is a plus.
