The Role
OpenTable is seeking a creative, highly motivated, and detail-oriented Brand Strategy Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in shaping how OpenTable positions and humanizes its brand for restaurant partners, bringing brand strategy to life through storytelling across campaigns, content, social channels, and industry moments. This role is highly collaborative and exec-facing, with direct support of OpenTable’s leadership voice, including helping manage and shape our CEO’s social media presence.

This role is ideal for a quick, thoughtful, and resourceful individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn and grow within a highly experienced team. While there are foundational responsibilities that support day-to-day brand initiatives, this position also offers meaningful opportunities to work closely with senior leadership, contribute to brand strategy, and help elevate OpenTable’s voice across the industry, along with exposure to a wide range of marketing initiatives and the chance to learn from a world-class marketing team. The right person for this role is a strong collaborator, exercises excellent judgment, and brings both strategic thinking and organizational rigor to their work.
Key Responsibilities
- Shape and evolve how OpenTable positions and humanizes its brand for restaurant partners, translating brand strategy into clear, authentic storytelling.
- Support executive social media presence through content coordination, posting, and
- audience engagement.
- Assist with executive on-site event support, including logistics coordination and real-time assistance during events.
- Develop and guide restaurant-first narratives across multiple channels, including the CEO’s social media presence, @OpenTableForRestaurants, events, and email.
- Support and assist in the development and execution of B2B brand campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall brand strategy and restaurant needs.
- Own and support select industry and hospitality events as strategic brand moments, helping turn in-person experiences into scalable brand and content opportunities.
- Manage and support chef, restaurateur, and industry talent relationships, identifying opportunities to thoughtfully integrate credible voices into campaigns and storytelling.
- Partner with PR, Brand, Content, Social, and Creative teams to productionalize experiential and industry-led content for distribution across B2B and B2C channels.
- Track and synthesize performance and qualitative feedback to inform brand positioning, campaigns, and storytelling efforts.

- BA/BS degree required
- 3+ years of work experience in digital marketing, events and/or PR
- 2+ years of professional experience in hospitality, food media, restaurant technology, or adjacent industries, with a strong understanding of the national restaurant landscape, including prominent chefs and broader industry dynamics.
- Efficient, highly productive multitasker; self-motivated and flexible; thrives in an entrepreneurial and collaborative environment
- Outstanding communication skills and demonstrated track record working with cross functional teams
- Comfort with data, numbers, trend analysis and technology
- Detail and results-focused
- Proficiency in Google Workspace.
- Experience with event management software (e.g., Zkipster), CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), and project management tools (e.g., Monday.com) is a plus.
- Resourceful, adaptable, proactive, and a collaborative team player.
- Ability to perform some physical tasks associated with event setup and breakdown.
- Willingness to travel for events

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. The range for this United States located role is $75,000 -$90,000.
We offer a competitive base salary and benefits including: health benefits; flexible spending account; retirement benefits; life insurance; paid time off (including PTO, paid sick leave, medical leave, bereavement leave, floating holidays and paid holidays); and parental leave benefits. This role is eligible to be considered for an annual bonus.
