We are looking for Senior Developer responsible for designing and developing backend components and leading a team of engineers.
We build long-term client partnerships. This is strongly evidenced by our 2026 client NPS of +50 and the fact that we retained all of our major clients.
Our current technologies
Open source platforms: PimCore, Magento, Shopware, WordPress
Backend: PHP, Symfony, MySQL, REST API, GraphQL
Frontend: Knockout.js, React, Typescript, vue.js, React Native
CI / CD tools: Git, Docker, Gitlab, Github, Ansible
Other: Kafka, Scala, Claude Code, AI Vector databases and other technologies and solutions for custom projects
What you will do:
Develop and maintain scalable, reusable, and secure solutions.
Evaluate client requirements and project objectives to identify the most suitable technological approach and design scalable, efficient solutions.
Apply AI tools and technologies to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and address customers’ needs -> AI-assisted development is part of our daily workflow — coding, debugging, code review, and DevOps. We expect senior engineers to use these tools effectively, judge their output critically, and help shape how the team applies them.
Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of functionalities.
Leverage API technologies and middleware solutions to integrate our platforms with multiple external services.
Investigate and resolve complex technical issues across various projects.
Apply AI tools and technologies to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and address customers’ needs.
Document system designs, technical solutions, and project specifications.
Support the team with mentorship and guidance on complex coding challenges. Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices and clean, readable code.
Requirements
**What do we expect from you?**
- At least 5 years of professional experience in backend development.
- Advanced knowledge of PHP and Symfony framework.
- Strong expertise in MySQL database management and query optimization.
- Passion for coding and clean, readable code.
- Proficiency in Version Control Systems (GIT), Composer and Docker.
- Experience with REST APIs and/or GraphQL.
- Fluency in Slovene and English (written and verbal).
- Great teamwork skills with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
What would be a bonus:
Familiarity with open-source platforms like Magento2, Pimcore, and Shopware.
Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., React, CSS, JavaScript).
Familiarity with Claude Code or other AI-assisted development tools.

Salary: 3,500 - 5,000 € gross + performance bonus.
