What’s on the menu?

As our Sales Manager, you’ll play a critical role in kick-starting and scaling a new market for Orbisk. This is a highly hands-on, individual contributor role with a strong go-to-market focus. For the first 6–12 months, your priority will be clear: hunt, win, and establish our first customers, while validating our commercial approach in the market.

Working closely with our Sales Director, the Head of Marketing and the CEO, you’ll localise and execute Orbisk’s proven sales playbook, take full ownership of the end-to-end sales cycle, and lay the commercial foundations needed for future growth.

Once the market is successfully established and traction is proven, this role is expected to evolve into a people leadership position, where you’ll begin building and scaling a local sales team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as an individual contributor, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting through to closing.

  • Adopting and localising a proven Orbisk sales playbook for the market.

  • Hunting for and onboarding our first customers, building a strong initial customer base.

  • Driving go-to-market execution in close collaboration with marketing and global stakeholders.

  • Gathering market insights to continuously refine positioning, messaging, and sales strategy.

  • Aligning with the global team on priorities, resources, and timing for future scale-up.

  • Tracking and analysing sales performance, identifying opportunities for optimisation and growth.

  • Preparing the groundwork for future team expansion, with the opportunity to hire and lead a sales team once the market matures.

Requirements

The key ingredients for success:

  • Proven experience as an individual contributor within a start-up or scale-up environment.

  • Strong track record in complex, multi-stakeholder B2B sales cycles with high deal values.

  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) is required.

  • Extensive experience within complex, enterprise-level B2B sales.

  • Experience launching or commercially developing new markets.

  • Strong understanding of go-to-market strategy, pipeline building, and sales execution.

  • Ability to work autonomously and take full ownership of market success.

  • Experience and/or a network within the hospitality industry would be a strong plus.
