Hi, we’re Oscar. We’re hiring a Lead APP - Oscar Primary Care to join our Oscar Primary Care team.

About the role:

You’ll deliver care as part of a multidisciplinary team of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), Registered Nurses (RNs), and Medical Assistants, delivering world-class care using a unique and innovative care model. You will manage a panel of patients primarily virtually while coordinating in-person care when required.

Additionally, you will supervise a team of APPs (NPs and PAs) delivering care to patients to their patient panels.

You will report into the Medical Director, Virtual Primary Care.

Work Location: This is a remote / work-from-home role. You must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, or Virginia. Note, this list of states is subject to change.

Pay Transparency: The base pay for this role is: $118,400 - $155,400 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar’s unlimited vacation program and annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care via telemedicine (video, phone, messaging) while working with a multidisciplinary team
  • Provide guidance to a group of APPs (NPs and PAs) who are delivering care in a virtual environment and provide professional & clinical growth
  • Clinical escalation point for the care delivery team (APPs, RNs, MAs)
  • Support development of clinical guidelines, continuous improvement of care model, and participate in collaborative projects with Operations and Product team members as a clinical leader.
  • Be accountable for the quality of care of your patients
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Must have GA, TX, & FL licenses in good standing
  • Additional state licenses or willing to be licensed in additional Oscar OPC states, also in good standing
  • DNP, FNP, ENP, or PA from accredited program
  • Board Certification (NCCPA or AANP or ANCC)
  • 5+ years of primary/urgent care experience
  • 1+ year Experience delivering care in a community-based / in person setting

Bonus points:

  • Spanish language fluency
  • Prior telehealth experience
  • 1+ years experience in supervising teams, including other clinical staff NP and PA supervision
  • Experience being metric driven in a practice setting as it relates to population health management and/or, quality benchmarks, and productivity

Pay Transparency: Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
