What You’ll Do

  • Be a visionary technology lead for our Higher Education digital transformations. You will be architecting the digital backbone of modern universities leveraging the Salesforce Education Cloud to design scalable, high-performance solutions that enable institutions to provide a seamless, 360-degree student experience.
  • Own the end-to-end technical architecture and delivery for Salesforce implementations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to university executives and IT leads, translating academic business needs (e.g., student success, admissions, advancement) into robust technical blueprints.
  • Establish coding standards and best practices for the development team. You will mentor and guide more junior developers.
  • Stay at the forefront of Salesforce releases to propose innovative ways for universities to use AI and data.

Qualifications

What You’ll Need

  • 8+ years of Salesforce experience, with at least 3 years in an Architect capacity and experience.
  • Understanding of the Higher Education sector and the specific nuances of the Education Cloud.
  • An established network of senior stakeholders in the Higher Education sector, with a proven ability to build and grow long-term client partnerships.
  • Commercial acumen with a track record of developing and selling consulting propositions.
  • Salesforce Certified Application or System Architect; Education Cloud Consultant.
  • Experience with cross-cloud Salesforce implementations integrated with other cloud and on-premise systems.
  • A solid understanding of the architectural principles of cloud-based platforms, including SaaS, PaaS, multitenancy, multitiered infrastructure, integration patterns, and application servers.
  • Experience with release management, source control, and deployment technologies such as CI/CD pipelines, Metadata API, and integration services.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical academic stakeholders.

  • Introductory Call with one of our senior Talent Acquisition partners to explore your background, the opportunity and PA.
  • Round 1: 3x competency interviews, allowing you to meet different members of PA.
  • Final Round: Business plan presentation with PA leaders – you will be given guidance and time to prepare in advance.
