Job description
PandaDoc is at an inflection point. We have:
- A massive and growing base of 70,000+ customers to cross-sell and expand.
- A powerful freemium and trial funnel already driving strong self-serve PLG demand.
- An exceptional marketing to sales funnel that we know can scale even further to boost pipeline.
- A strategic push into PQLs, lead scoring, and multi-touch attribution as core growth levers.
- An upcoming, AI-native Agreement Hub platform that will redefine how SMBs create, negotiate, and manage all agreement workflows.
Now we’re looking for a Director of Marketing Operations to scale up our predictable growth engine and drive these new core levers.
As Director of Marketing Operations, you will lead the team that designs, runs, and continuously improves the systems, processes, and insights that power our entire marketing engine.
You’ll be a key member of both the Revenue Operations leadership team and the Marketing leadership team, partnering tightly with Marketing, Sales, Growth, RevOps, and Finance. You’ll own everything from lead management and funnel alignment to PQL frameworks, attribution models, and martech strategy.
We have a large, multi-million-dollar marketing budget, a broad channel mix, and increasingly ambitious goals across events, partner marketing, and developer marketing; you’ll be the person ensuring all of that spend turns into efficient, compounding growth.
This role calls for someone who loves to build: systems, processes, teams, a marketing engine.
You’ll need equal parts executive presence and roll up your sleeves. You are someone willing to jump into a Marketo/HubSpot flow, a Salesforce report, or an attribution model one moment, and present tradeoffs on spend and funnel dynamics to the executive team the next.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and scale the Marketing Operations function, owning the systems, processes, planning, and run-the-business reporting.
- Partner tightly with Marketing leaders and stakeholders to elevate our end-to-end systems and processes across lead management, funnel alignment, campaign execution, account-based marketing, and sales development.
- Own the martech roadmap: critically evaluate the current stack, identify gaps and opportunities, and drive new martech initiatives in partnership with Revenue Technology.
- Define and run the marketing operating cadence, ensuring we rigorously measure outcomes, monitor performance across channels, and rapidly adjust strategy and activities based on data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Support the SVP of Marketing and marketing leadership by designing and delivering crisp, executive-ready and board-level reporting on a regular cadence, turning complex data into compelling narratives and clear decisions.
- Lead the marketing planning engine, including annual and quarterly planning, organizational design, budget allocation, and OKR management.
- Build, coach, and inspire a world-class Marketing Operations team through structured hiring and assessment, thoughtful balance of external hires and internal promotions, and hands-on mentorship that maximizes each team member’s impact and growth.
About you:
8+ years of experience in marketing operations, with 3+ years leading people and teams.
Deep familiarity with modern B2B SaaS go-to-market, ideally in high-growth environments.
Hands-on experience with:
- Marketing automation and lifecycle orchestration
- Lead/PQL scoring and routing
- Multi-touch attribution and funnel analytics
- ABX/ABM programs and account scoring
- CDPs, data enrichment, and audience building
Strong analytical chops: you’re comfortable going from SQL or GSheets to a C-level deck.
A builder’s mindset: you enjoy designing systems and processes from first principles, not just operating with what already exists today.
Proven ability to lead planning & budget conversations with Finance and GTM leaders.
Executive presence and influence skills: you can push back when needed, build trust quickly, and align diverse stakeholders around a shared plan.
Comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment where ambiguity is normal and you help turn it into clarity.
The annual OTE is up to 225-240k
