Attorney / Lawyer (Contracts, Compliance, Corporate & Litigation – Remote, U.S. Hours)
About the Role
We’re hiring an Attorney / Lawyer to provide legal guidance, contract drafting, compliance oversight, and litigation support across business operations.
In this role, you’ll partner with leadership to manage legal risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and support strategic decisions.

Responsibilities
Contract Drafting & Negotiation
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts:
- NDAs
- MSAs
- Employment agreements
- Vendor/supplier contracts
- Leases
Ensure contracts are legally sound, enforceable, and aligned with business goals
Legal Research & Advisory
Conduct research using:
- Westlaw
- LexisNexis
Interpret laws, regulations, and case law
Provide clear, practical legal guidance to business stakeholders
Corporate Governance
Prepare and manage:
- Board resolutions
- Shareholder agreements
- Entity formation and restructuring documents
Compliance & Risk Management
Monitor and advise on compliance with:
- GDPR
- HIPAA
- SOX
- FTC regulations
- Employment laws
Update policies and ensure audit-ready documentation
Litigation & Dispute Management
Draft:
- Pleadings
- Motions
- Discovery responses
Coordinate with external counsel
Track deadlines and manage litigation timelines
Regulatory Filings & Documentation
- Prepare filings with federal, state, and regulatory agencies
- Maintain secure, organized legal records and documentation
- Ensure contracts and filings are easily retrievable and compliant
Requirements
JD (Juris Doctor) or equivalent law degree
Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
3+ years of experience in legal practice (law firm or in-house)
Strong experience in:
- Contract drafting and negotiation
- Compliance and legal advisory
Familiarity with:
- Corporate law and/or litigation matters
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work remote during U.S. business hours
Nice to Have
Experience across multiple jurisdictions or international law
Prior in-house counsel experience
Specialized expertise in:
- Employment law
- Corporate law
- SaaS / tech
- Real estate law
Experience with legal tools:

- PracticePanther
Tools & Tech
