About the Role
Pavago is hiring on behalf of a client seeking an Operations Specialist to manage day-to-day workforce operations on a live scheduling platform.
This role is responsible for ensuring shifts are filled, workers are active, and daily operations run smoothly. You will oversee the full shift lifecycle — from onboarding professionals to handling real-time attendance issues and last-minute changes.
Responsibilities
- Manage shift scheduling and workforce coordination end-to-end
- Respond to client shift requests and ensure timely coverage
- Assign workers and confirm availability and attendance
- Monitor attendance, clock-ins, and shift activity
- Handle no-shows, late arrivals, and last-minute changes
- Secure replacements quickly to avoid disruptions
- Communicate with clients and on-site managers to resolve issues
- Keep systems, trackers, and documentation up to date
- Identify recurring issues and suggest process improvements
Requirements
2+ years of experience in:
- Operations
- Staffing / Workforce Coordination
- Scheduling or similar roles
Strong English communication skills (spoken and written)
Ability to work US hours
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Comfortable using digital tools and platforms
Reliable internet connection and computer setup
Nice to Have
- Experience with staffing platforms or marketplaces
- Background in shift-based or on-demand workforce environments
- Experience tracking attendance or operational KPIs
- Exposure to process improvement initiatives
