About the Role
If you’re a results-driven engineer with an entrepreneurial mindset, who takes initiative and thrives in a dynamic environment, this is a great opportunity to play a key role in a fast-growing cyber security company. You’ll have a direct impact on the reliability, scalability, and performance of our award-winning Complete Security Control Validation platform used by customers worldwide.
As an SRE, you’ll focus on ensuring system reliability through automation, observability, and performance optimization — across both cloud and on-prem environments. You’ll work closely with developers to build scalable, secure, and efficient systems that empower rapid innovation without compromising stability.
Picus is headquartered in Ankara, with a regional office in Istanbul, but our team is remote across TĂĽrkiye. Please note that all CVs must be submitted in English.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure availability, reliability, and performance of production systems,
- Manage and automate AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC),
- Improve system observability with monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions,
- Develop internal tools and dashboards to track engineering and reliability metrics,
- Collaborate with development teams to design scalable architectures and optimize workloads,
- Participate in on-call rotation and incident response, driving post-incident improvements,
- Manage and maintain cloud and on-prem environments, including provisioning, upgrades, and recovery.
What You Have
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field,
- Experience with Linux-based systems,
- Programming experience with Go, Python, and Bash for automation and tooling,
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or other public cloud platforms,
- Proficiency with Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and Ansible,
- A strong automation mindset and deep understanding of reliability principles,
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines,
- Knowledge of observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch) is a plus.
