About the Role:
You will join a collaborative team responsible for delivering software that supports satellite-related solutions (web based GUIs and public facing APIs). Together with engineers, you will engage across all stages of the development lifecycle — contributing to planning, testing coordination, infrastructure support, and release preparation.
This role emphasizes teamwork, process improvement, and shared ownership of delivery quality. You’ll help ensure predictable releases and continuously refine how we build and validate our systems.
We’re looking for someone proactive, curious about satellite technologies, and interested in modern software practices. Strong collaboration and communication skills are key in our Agile, team-driven environment where quality is a shared responsibility.
This is a part-time, in-office position based in our Berlin office approximately 3 days per week.
Impact You’ll Own:
- Assist our Tasking team in testing activities, including developing and enhancing existing tools and test automation frameworks, microservice applications and test data management.
- Develop and maintain UI and API automated tests using Python and Javascript.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements analysis to deployment.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide detailed bug reports.
- Participate in test design discussions with the team, contributing to test architecture/framework decisions.
- Support internal workflows and prepare documentation.
What You Bring:
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree.
- Basic knowledge of Python or Javascript/Typescript.
- Tech savvy: eager to learn new technologies and skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
- Creative thinker with the ability to approach problems from multiple angles.
- A passion for quality.
- Professional working proficiency in English, the language of the company.
What Makes You Stand Out:
- Development background using Python, Javascript, Git.
- Knowledge of the testing tools/frameworks: pytest, Playwright.
- Familiarity with testing practices, API and UI testing.
- Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented.
