About Prenda

We were founded in 2015. We provide curriculum, software, tools, funds, and training to individuals who run K-8 microschools, known as “guides.” These microschools typically operate from homes or local community centers.

Our student-led learning system focuses on engagement and academics through a four-part day: Connect, Conquer, Collaborate, and Create. This includes custom curriculum, projects, and adaptive tests for math and reading.

We also offer microschool management tools for things like enrollment, tracking progress, processing payments, and marketing. Our certified teaching professionals monitor student progress and support guides. Additionally, we provide year-round academic coaches and continuous skills training.

Over a thousand guides have started microschools with us, supporting nearly 10,000 students. Guides operate as independent business owners, not as our employees or independent contractors.
