Tegra is seeking an Associate Data Strategy Analyst to support recurring client data operations within our Life Sciences Data Operations, Automation and Analytics practice. This entry to early career role is ideal for candidates looking to build technical depth while working within structured frameworks that emphasize disciplined execution, data harmonization, ETL processing, reporting refreshes, and rigorous quality control. Associates contribute to incremental automation improvements while developing independence and strong analytical foundations. Based in Columbia, SC or Doylestown, PA with an initial in person work arrangement and potential hybrid or remote flexibility, this role offers the opportunity to grow within a firm rooted in integrity, integration, and accountability. Key Responsibilities
Data Integration & ETL Support
- Ingest and harmonize healthcare and sales-related datasets in accordance with established rules and data mappings.
- Execute and monitor recurring ETL workflows to ensure timely and accurate data processing.
- Perform structured quality control checks, including record counts, reconciliations, and trend validation, to ensure data integrity.
- Clearly document data issues and escalate risks or inconsistencies to senior team members as appropriate.
- Maintain organized file structures, naming conventions, and workflow documentation in alignment with team standards.
Reporting & Tools
- Refresh and validate dashboards (e.g., Power BI) to ensure accuracy and alignment with defined reporting standards.
- Prepare recurring, stakeholder-ready reports in Excel, ensuring data accuracy and clear presentation of insights.
- Support CRM data extracts and incentive compensation reporting processes in collaboration with senior team members.
- Assist with web-based tool data imports, performing validation checks to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Automation & Governance
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of reusable scripts and templates (SQL, Python, VBA).
- Execute data warehouse refresh routines in accordance with established governance standards and team processes.
- Maintain and update runbooks and process documentation as needed.
Collaboration
- Participate in client and internal meetings as applicable.
- Communicate task completion clearly and efficiently, proactively identifying and escalating blockers or risks to team.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong Excel proficiency
- Working knowledge of SQL
Preferred:
- Python and/or VBA
- Power BI or Tableau exposure
- Familiarity with AWS/Azure
- Understanding of MDM and data privacy concept

- Demonstrated technical growth and increasing independence
