About Qloo

Founded in 2012 by Alex Elias and Jay Alger, we use AI to personalize recommendations and understand cultural preferences. We provide anonymized consumer taste data and recommendations. Our Taste AI predicts preferences across more than a dozen categories, including music, film, television, podcasts, dining, nightlife, fashion, consumer products, books, and travel. We make this intelligence available through an API.

We combine machine learning, neuroaesthetics research, and a large pipeline of taste data. Our technology uses neural networks and deep learning to detect patterns and create multi-dimensional taste vectors, while adhering to privacy regulations like GDPR and CCPA. We operate a database with over 3.7 billion notable people, places, things, and interests, and more than 10 trillion anonymized consumer signals from transactions, locations, and interactions.

Our solutions help clients drive sales, optimize media buys, aid real estate decisions, and build brands. We offer personalized recommendations, audience intelligence, taste analysis, data licensing, LLM integration, and on-device AI. Our clients are in tech, entertainment, publishing, retail, travel, hospitality, and CPG. They include Netflix, Michelin, AXA, BP, JCDecaux, MetLife, Pepsico, UMG, Match Group, Live Nation, Accenture, Ticketmaster, FC Barcelona, Paramount, and Starbucks.
