Salary: $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 (Depending on Experience)

Role Summary
The Strategic Partner & Commercial Manager is responsible for overseeing daily quoting activity across the companyโs full customer base while managing and supporting relationships with select strategic partner firms. This role serves as a central point of commercial coordination, ensuring quote requests are acknowledged, processed, and delivered with urgency, accuracy, and professionalism.
This position requires a strong customer service mindset, sound commercial judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. The role works cross-functionally with estimating, engineering, manufacturing, sales, and project management to ensure commercial execution aligns with operational capabilities and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities Daily Quoting Ownership
- Own the intake, coordination, and follow-through of all quote requests across the customer base
- Ensure quote requests are acknowledged promptly and progressed without delay
- Partner with estimating and engineering teams to confirm scope clarity, pricing accuracy, and realistic lead times
- Manage multiple active quotes simultaneously, including revisions and follow-ups
- Ensure quotes are issued accurately, professionally, and within expected timelines
Strategic Partner Management
- Manage day-to-day commercial interactions with assigned strategic partner firms
- Lead and participate in partner calls, meetings, and reviews as needed
- Maintain consistent, timely communication and follow-up with partner teams
- Ensure strategic partners are aligned with internal quoting processes and expectations
Customer Service & Responsiveness
- Act as a customer- and partner-facing point of contact during the quoting phase
- Maintain a strong sense of urgency in responding to inquiries, revisions, and follow-ups
- Set and manage expectations regarding timing, scope clarification, and next steps
- Proactively communicate status updates to external partners and internal teams
- Represent the organization with professionalism, accountability, and a service-first mindset
Commercial Coordination
- Serve as the primary commercial interface during the quoting phase between sales, estimating, engineering, manufacturing, and project management
- Prepare clean commercial handoffs to the Project Management team for awarded work
- Identify and escalate scope gaps, risks, or assumptions early in the quoting process
- Support change management for revised or evolving quote requests
Process & Continuous Improvement
- Drive consistency and continuous improvement in quoting workflows, tools, and documentation
- Identify recurring issues impacting quote turnaround time or quality
- Contribute ideas to improve commercial efficiency as volume and complexity increase
Success Metrics / KPIs
- Quote turnaround time and on-time delivery rate
- Quote accuracy and rework rate
- Responsiveness to customers and strategic partners
- Volume of quotes managed concurrently
- Quality of commercial handoff to Project Management
- Customer and partner feedback on communication and service
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in sales, commercial operations, or quoting within a technical or manufacturing environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong sense of urgency and accountability
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn technical electrical and infrastructure-related products
- Reliable follow-through with strong organizational skills
