Why this role matters
In this role you will help advance the development of our ClearCheck application, improving the efficiency, automation, and quality of radiation oncology workflows for cancer centers around the world.
You will work closely with fully remote engineering teams to design, build, and maintain our .NET framework applications from analysis and design through coding and testing. Your software development and leadership skills will play an integral role in developing new products and delivering scalable solutions that help cancer centers provide better patient care.
Responsibilities Include:
- Design, develop, and maintain features supporting radiotherapy plan checking workflows: DICOM integration, image visualization, dose visualization, plan visualization, DVH evaluation, and creating plan checks.
- Develop performant, reliable WPF desktop software.
- Integrate with oncology information systems via DICOM networking and related clinical interfaces
- Collaborate with physicists and product leaders to translate clinical requirements into production software
- Contribute to architecture, testing, code reviews, and technical decision-making
- Support teammates through collaboration, mentorship, and knowledge sharing
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in C# and WPF with experience developing production desktop applications
- Experience working with DICOM data — including network operations or file processing — and 3D medical imaging
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Experience:
- Experience coding in large complex systems, like Radiotherapy Treatment Planning Systems, or CAD systems.
- Experience with 3D modeling and visualization, geometric computing, numerical methods, coordinate systems, spatial transformations, and performance-oriented software development
- Medical device software development experience.
- Experience with medical technologies / interfacing like FHIR, HL7, DICOM
- Experience with HIPAA Regulations in Software Implementations
$150,000 - $180,000 a year
$160,000 - $200,000 CAD/year
