We were founded in 2013 and provide AI-powered resource management software for large professional services firms globally. We operate in the Software Development industry and have 51-200 employees.

Our software combines AI, real-time project financials, and firm-wide insights to improve resource management. It includes features for capacity scheduling, trend forecasting, planning to team strengths, and suitability scoring, which can process 50,000 scheduling options per second. It also offers automated controls for budgeting and profitability, helps manage project and portfolio profitability, corrects in-flight projects, prevents overruns, and keeps clients informed with automated notifications and early issue detection.

We serve Big Four and other top professional services firms in audit, consulting, tax, IT services, and media agencies. Our software is used by Resource Management teams, Partners, C-Suite, Engagement Managers, and Practitioners.

Our software integrates with platforms like Workday, SAP, OpenHR, Dynamics 365, Microsoft, Iris, Salesforce, Oracle, CatalystOne, Deltek, Flowcase, CCH, and SAP HANA. We have customers in over 55 countries across 6 continents.

Co-founders Andrew Bone, a Chartered Accountant, and Dr. Alastair Andrew, an expert in combinatorial optimization, began developing Dayshape in 2013. PwC Poland became a customer in 2016, which was an important milestone. Cow Corner invested in us in 2023 to support our global expansion, particularly in the US. In 2024, Matt Cockett became CEO, and Andrew Bone transitioned to Chairman and VP Product.

We operate with a flexible, hybrid work model, and many roles are suitable for remote work, especially within the UK and US. Our Edinburgh headquarters in Canning Exchange is a modern office with large communal areas, multiple meeting rooms, and individual call booths. We offer various benefits and perks to our employees. For career development, you receive a minimum of £1,000 or $1,400 per year for professional and personal development. In the UK, holiday allowance starts at 33 days per year (including bank holidays), increasing by 1 day each year up to a maximum of 40 days. US employees receive 20 days of PTO plus public holidays. We provide a four-week paid sabbatical in your fifth anniversary year.
