Job Description
Senior Director, Product Innovation Supply Chain
Who We Are:
Being naked is the #1 most sustainable option. We’re #2.
Since 2009, we’ve been on a mission to bring sustainable fashion to everyone. Named one of Fast Company’s Brands That Matter and winning a Best Carbon Footprint award, we have big goals like being Climate Positive by 2025, Circular by 2030, and pushing the whole industry forward along the way.Our work has gotten love in Drapers and Sourcing Journal, and TIME wrote about how great our CEO, Hali Borenstein, is. Basically, we’re saving the Earth and looking damn good doing it.
We’re a global brand with 50+ stores (and counting) around the world, and our own sustainable factory in LA. We innovate across categories like accessories, swimwear, and sleepwear, and we reach millions of people with campaigns like this, this and this.
None of this work is possible without the incredible people behind it. We’re a mission-based company that invests in an inclusive culture, so we can innovate together and ensure everyone has the space to grow, thrive, and belong.
And starting right now, we want to do all that with you.
The Role
We are expanding our reach in categories like Shoes, Handbags, Swim, Jewelry, and more — and we’re looking for a forward-thinking, hands-on Senior Director, Supply Chain to lead the charge in evolving how we source, produce, and deliver these products.
The Senior Director, Supply Chain, Product Innovation will be responsible for building and scaling a high-performing supply chain across raw materials, sourcing, and production — through to final delivery at our warehouse. This leader will drive operational excellence across multiple product categories and countries, while ensuring flexibility and resilience in a fast-moving innovation-driven environment.
This role will not oversee product development directly (though will closely partner with that team, which is New York based), but will oversee Raw Materials R&D. This role will be instrumental in operationalizing innovation — translating design and development intent into efficient, sustainable, and scalable supply chain execution.
Work Location: NYC-based; Hybrid 4-Days in Office
What You’ll Do
- Own end-to-end supply chain operations across Shoes, Handbags, Swim, Jewelry, and emerging categories — from raw material sourcing to warehouse delivery.
- Oversee a team of 4, including the Associate Directors of Materials and Production, and their direct reports (Production Managers).
- Lead vendor strategy for a supply chain currently spanning 10+ factories across 5+ countries; proactively manage relationships and performance while overseeing production of over 200,000 finished goods per year — and growing.
- Drive supplier diversification efforts to support flexibility, risk mitigation, and innovation across all product categories.
- Oversee Materials Research & Development with a sharp focus on identifying, testing, and scaling next-generation sustainable materials. Collaborate closely with internal and external partners to ensure all raw materials meet Reformation’s standards for environmental and social responsibility.
- Champion Reformation’s sustainability mission — helping lead the industry in sustainable practices from raw material sourcing and circular design, to end-of-life take-back programs and traceable, ethical supply chains.
- Partner closely with Product Development, Design, Planning, and Merchandising to translate creative vision into executable production strategies.
- Ensure on-time delivery, margin protection, and high product quality across all categories.
- Identify and implement supply chain technologies, process improvements, and analytics to enhance visibility and performance.
- Oversee capacity planning, raw material commitments, and production calendars in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Lead international travel to key factory and material partners as needed.
Who You Are
- A supply chain leader with 10+ years of experience in sourcing, materials, and production — preferably within consumer products, apparel, or fashion.
- Deep knowledge of footwear, accessories, or multi-category product supply chains.
- Proven track record of building and managing international vendor networks, with expertise in supplier diversification strategies.
- Experience leading teams and developing talent within complex, fast-paced environments.
- Passionate about sustainability, circular systems, and future-forward materials innovation.
- Strong project management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with creative and technical teams, and translating innovation into action.
- Willing and able to travel internationally as business needs dictate.
