We were founded in Sydney, Australia, in September 2010 by Jane Lu. Starting as “Show Pony” in Jane’s parents’ garage, we’ve grown into a major online fashion retailer. We specialize in online retail and apparel, connecting women globally.

We offer women’s clothing and accessories for various occasions, including casual wear, bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses, evening dresses, two-piece sets, and vacation essentials. Our items are designed exclusively in Australia, with a focus on quality fabrics and unique prints. We offer inclusive sizing from US 0-16 (AU 4-20).

In 2013, we closed our brick-and-mortar stores and rebranded to Showpo, becoming an exclusively online retailer. Our app launched in 2018, adding features like Visual Search. We’ve received awards like Online Retailer of the Year and Exporter of the Year. In 2019, we introduced our Bridal Collection and were inducted into Australia Post’s Online Retail Industry Award Hall of Fame. In 2021, we launched our first in-house label, Sunday Society Club (loungewear), and became the official fashion partner of Love Island Australia. In 2022, we introduced our second in-house label, Amalie The Label, which focuses on luxe collections with natural fibers. We ship globally and have a strong presence on social media.

We have over 100 employees and are largely a female-led business. Our culture emphasizes a “get sh*t done” mentality, maintaining the hustle spirit from our small garage start-up days.
