Job Description
Job Title: SDET - Medior Level
Work Location: Bengaluru (Hybrid)
Experience: 3-6 years
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Medior SDET with strong automation skills in any two programming languages and hands-on experience in performance testing. The ideal candidate will be passionate about quality engineering, possess strong problem‑solving skills, and communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical teams. This is a hybrid role based in Bengaluru.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for web, API, and backend systems.
- Write and execute robust automated test scripts using any two programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, TypeScript, Ruby).
- Plan, execute, and analyze performance/load/stress testing using tools like JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, or Locust.
- Identify bottlenecks and collaborate with engineering teams to optimize performance and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality test automation practices.
- Develop test strategies, test plans, and test data to support continuous integration and delivery.
- Drive quality throughout the SDLC by working closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders.
- Analyze test results, track defects, and ensure timely resolution.
Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience.
- Proficiency in any two programming languages used commonly in automation (Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, etc.).
- Hands‑on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, or Locust.
- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, RestAssured, etc.).
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Good understanding of API testing and validation.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Good to Have
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) for performance/environment setup.
- Knowledge of container platforms like Docker or Kubernetes.
- Exposure to security testing fundamentals.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
