- Provide regulatory input for NPD (new product development) to ensure that concepts, names, claims and formulas meet market requirements.
- Participate in the Packaging Tax Working Group and collaborate closely with R&D Packaging, Innovation and Finance.
- Ensure all compliance requirements are delivered on time to support flawless launches.
- Communicate regulatory recommendations clearly to non-technical stakeholders and support correct implementation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of compliance processes and internal ways of working.
Qualifications
You are a proactive and detail-oriented specialist who is experienced in cosmetic and packaging legislation within the EU and international markets. You enjoy navigating complex legislation and guiding teams with clarity and confidence.
- Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Regulatory Affairs, Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Life Sciences or related field.
- 5β7 years of experience in product compliance or regulatory affairs within the cosmetics, personal care or related consumer good industries.
- Strong knowledge of EU Cosmetic Regulation (EC) No. 1223⁄2009, ingredient regulations and global cosmetic frameworks.
- Preferably experience with packaging legislation, including packaging tax, PPWR, EPR and other environmental legislation.
- Experience supporting NPD and PLCM processes in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Fluent in English, spoken and written.
You bring curiosity, sound judgment in complex regulatory situations and a hands-on mindset and enjoy working cross-functionally, finding solutions and continuously improving how we work.
