Scality, founded in 2009, develops software-defined storage. We provide S3 object storage with CORE5 for cyber resilience and MultiScale Architecture for independent scalability. Our solutions help organizations manage data storage challenges related to growth, security, performance, and cost. We offer scale-out, hybrid-cloud capable file and object storage.

Our main products are Scality RING, a scalable file and object storage solution for cloud providers, backup platforms, media, analytics, and AI data pipelines. Scality ARTESCA is an object storage solution designed for cyber-resilient data protection, pre-integrated with backup solutions like Veeam, Commvault, Cohesity, and Rubrik.

Our CORE5 cyber resilience technology provides a five-layer defense. It protects data from ransomware and failures using S3 Object Lock, encryption, IAM, metadata separation, erasure coding, and multi-site replication. MultiScale Architecture handles petabyte to exabyte growth, tens of billions of objects, and throughput from GB/s to TB/s with single-digit millisecond latency. AI-Connect integrates to provide high-performance access to data for AI/ML workloads, including native RAG optimization and connectors for AI toolchains.

We serve cloud providers, enterprises, governments, and research institutions globally, supporting mission-critical workloads. Our solutions are used for AI workloads, cyber-resilient data protection, and cloud-scale infrastructure. Gartner has recognized us as a leader multiple times, including for backup solutions. We operate in the Software Development industry with offices in San Francisco, Paris, Washington D.C., London, and Tokyo. Our solutions are used by over 700 million global users, including 7 of the 15 largest global banks, over 50 hospital systems, and 10 of the 20 largest global telcos & CSPs.
