Position Purpose

The Digital Experience & Content Strategist ensures a high‑quality, consistent, and guest‑centric digital experience across Scenic and Emerald websites and mobile apps.

This role focuses on:

  • supporting website content operations
  • publishing and managing app content
  • ensuring cross‑brand alignment
  • improving digital experience quality
  • validating analytics implementation
  • enabling SEO and content discoverability
  • driving clarity, consistency, and operational excellence

Key Responsibilities

1) Content & Digital Experience Operations (Website & App – Scenic & Emerald)

  • Support website content publication by coordinating with agencies and internal teams to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with digital experience standards.
  • Publish and update mobile app content, managing modules, pages, and guest facing journeys in the app CMS.
  • Ensure cross brand consistency (structure, messaging, user flow, UX elements) across Scenic and Emerald.
  • Translate stakeholder briefings into clear content requirements and digital execution steps.
  • Conduct audits of global pages to ensure structured: navigation, layout, module behavior, and interaction quality.
  • Identify digital experience gaps and propose improvements to structure, flow, CTAs, and usability.
  • Maintain content governance documentation (naming conventions, alignment guides, UX patterns, QA checklists).

2) Personalization & Experience Support

  • Support the setup of basic personalization rules (market/locale, returning visitor, interest categories) across website and app.
  • Collaborate with IT, Marketing, brand teams, and partner agencies to ensure personalization and UX enhancements land correctly.
  • Audit and refine content and modules to improve clarity, experience, and navigation relevance.

3) Digital Performance, Analytics & Insights

  • Validate that GA4 and GTM implementations delivered by agency follow expected tracking and data accuracy.
  • Monitor engagement, key journeys, and friction points to provide actionable insights.
  • Deliver monthly insights focused on content performance, navigation behavior, and digital experience trends.

4) SEO Essentials

  • Ensure on page SEO hygiene: titles, meta descriptions, headings, alt text, internal linking.
  • Validate core structured data (Blogs, Article, Breadcrumb).
  • Support cross brand consistency in SEO guidelines and page structures.

5) Governance, Process, and Cross Brand Alignment

  • Ensure Scenic and Emerald follow aligned digital standards across web & app.
  • Oversee ServiceNow workflows for content requests, SLAs, and approvals.
  • Support localization and translations across languages (EN, ES, FR, DE).
  • Maintain documentation that supports scale and consistency.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Marketing, Communication, Multimedia, Digital Experience, and similar.
  • 2–4 years of experience in digital content operations, website/app experience management, SEO essentials, or similar roles.
  • Hands‑on experience/knowledge of CMS, GA4, Dashboards, Asana, and ServiceNow.
  • Fluency in English (mandatory).

  • Analytical mindset, ability to interpret data and propose insights.

  • External Agencies and Freelancers: Support content delivery and asset production.
  • IT and Platform Support: Assist with technical content deployment issues and troubleshooting.

Note: This position follows a hybrid work model based at our Porto office.
