Provides CO2e emissions calculation, routing, and visibility solutions for logistics and supply chain management.

About Searoutes

We founded Searoutes in 2019 to help shippers manage their logistics carbon footprint. We provide CO2 visibility through accurate calculations, which helps supply chain leaders meet their sustainability goals. We use advanced algorithms and datasets to calculate CO₂e emissions for transport and routing, tailored to match carrier services. We are ISO 14083 certified.

Our offerings include Scope 3 emissions reports for all transport modes and CO2 emissions analytics per carrier. These help improve procurement and reduce carbon impact. Our API-first approach makes carbon emission data available to carriers, freight forwarders, shippers, and other solution providers.

Our main products and services are:

  • CO2 API: This computes carbon emissions from freight transport, automatically generates reports for past bookings, and lets users compare services and carriers to reduce door-to-door emissions. It calculates accurate CO2 emissions based on detailed vessel consumption and distances traveled, and estimates CO2 for air, rail, and road.
  • Sea + Inland Routing API: This provides accurate sea distances for better planning, predicting arrival times, monitoring fuel consumption, estimating CO2e, and calculating deviation costs. It also includes inland routing.
  • AIS + Vessel Tracking API: This offers global maritime visibility with live vessel positions, voyage information, vessel details, distance to the next call, and estimated time of arrival. Users can also retrieve historical positions for analysis.
  • Carbon Act and Carbon Report: These solutions help bring transparency to the environmental impact of CO2e emissions, supporting reduction strategies and regulatory compliance. They pinpoint high emission areas, offer clear reporting for compliance, and aim to minimize reduction costs.

Over 110 organizations, including CMA CGM, Michelin, Ceva Logistics, Bosch, BASF, Shypple, Rhenus-logistics, Pantos, OEC, and Beacon, use Searoutes. Our online app and APIs support 60,000 monthly users. We have offices in Hamburg, Germany, and Marseille, France. Our expertise includes Port Information, Weather Routing, fuel consumption, CO2 emissions calculation, Ocean distance calculation, and Vessel tracking.
