This position is Remote to work with a US Company; you will require to have Citizenship or a work permit from Costa Rica to apply for this role.
Role summary
You will drive qualified new patient starts by promoting specialty pharmacy services to healthcare providers, primarily within physician office settings. This role focuses on relationship management, territory strategy execution, and collaboration with clinical and internal teams to support patient safety, quality of care, and sustainable revenue growth.
Responsibilities
Promote and sell specialty pharmacy services to referring healthcare providers.
Generate qualified patient referrals to support revenue growth for specialty therapies.
Conduct in-person and virtual sales presentations and meetings with physician offices.
Develop and execute territory strategies in collaboration with Sales leadership.
Act as a liaison between healthcare providers and internal teams to support patient safety and care quality.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date territory records and activity documentation.
Manage internal and external communications effectively and professionally.
Build, maintain, and expand relationships with existing and prospective referral sources.
Collaborate with partner representatives within assigned territories.
Gather and share relevant industry and market intelligence with internal teams.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and all federal and state regulations.
Represent the organization professionally at local, regional, and national events.
Requirements – Must-haves
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry (sales, management, clinic services, or customer service).
Strong understanding of chronic disease management and specialty therapy environments.
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with physicians, nurses, case managers, and healthcare stakeholders.
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and prioritization.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision while collaborating within a team.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
High level of professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive information.
Customer-focused mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
Nice-to-haves (optional)
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience supporting patients with chronic disorders such as Primary Immune Deficiency or related conditions.
Background in specialty pharmacy, infusion services, or complex referral environments.
Experience working with insurers, case managers, and complex reimbursement workflows.
