We develop tools for circuit board designers, including SnapMagic Search and SnapMagic Copilot. SnapMagic Search provides component libraries, and SnapMagic Copilot is an AI co-pilot for electronics design. Our aim is to automate circuit board design tasks, letting engineers focus on more complex work.

SnapMagic Copilot can auto-complete circuits, streamline small decisions like adding bypass capacitors, and lets you interact with a circuit or automate schematics using natural language. It also optimizes bills of materials (BOMs) for factors like cost and power by suggesting new components. Our platform integrates with major distributors, offering real-time supply chain data to identify out-of-stock parts and suggest alternatives, and we facilitate 1-click BOM purchases.

Over 1.5 million engineers, including those at Boeing and Raytheon, use our electronic component data. We started in 2013 when our founder struggled to find digital models for PCB design, which led to the creation of an initial search engine for electronics. SnapMagic, our AI-driven solution, builds on this foundation using SnapEDA’s CAD library.

We specialize in electronic design, electronic design automation (EDA), circuit design, CAD libraries, PCB libraries, PCB footprints, and schematic symbols. We support tools like Altium, Eagle, Kicad, Allegro, Orcad, Cadence, PADS, DXDesigner, and Mentor Graphics. Our funding comes from Silicon Valley investors in technology, artificial intelligence, and developer tools.

We have a hybrid work environment, typically coming into the office on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and working remotely on other days.
