We are looking to hire a Data Warehouse Support Specialist for our client in the banking industry. You’ll take charge of monitoring daily processes, play a key role in supporting essential EOD/EOM cycles, swiftly troubleshoot ETL and performance challenges, and collaborate closely with both technical and business teams to ensure rapid incident resolution.
Job description
Proactively monitor and support the Production Data Warehouse environment daily to guarantee seamless stability and uninterrupted operations.
Drive the successful execution and punctual completion of all End-of-Day (EOD) and End-of-Month (EOM) processes.
Expertly troubleshoot and resolve challenges related to ETL jobs, data loading, and performance issues to keep systems running optimally.
Collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure smooth workflows and swift incident resolutions.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including operational procedures, runbooks, and support guides, to empower the team and streamline processes.
Hands-on experience with Relational Database development using Oracle, Sybase IQ, or MS SQL Server.
A strong knowledge of Data Warehouse architecture and ETL processes.
Proficiency in T-SQL and PL/SQL, enabling efficient database programming.
Knowledge of EOD/EOM business processes and their importance within the financial sector is advantageous.
Strong problem-solving skills coupled with the capability to work both independently and as a valuable team player.
Fluent in English, ensuring clear and effective communication.
