We are seeking a talented Senior Java Engineer to join our passionate team at Softeta, working on innovative software solutions for the healthcare sector. As a Senior Java Engineer, you will take a leading role in the design and implementation of robust and scalable backend systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy Java applications that are high-performance, scalable, and easy to maintain.
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define project requirements and create technical specifications;
- Conduct code reviews and promoting best coding practices;
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment;
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability.
Technological stack - Java 21, Spring Boot, REST API, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL
4+ years of experience in Java development with a strong focus on backend systems;
Proficient in using Spring Framework and RESTful services;
Experience with Microservices architecture;
Knowledge of database design along with hands-on experience in SQL databases;
Good communication skills and the ability to work in an agile environment.

Salary range - from 3500 EUR to 5200 EUR monthly before taxes, 30-35 EUR plus VAT for contractors.
