At Softeta, we are looking for a Python Engineer to become a member of our small, agile development team, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of our US-based client.The team will be responsible for a greenfield project to build a new payment processing platform from the ground up, moving away from existing systems to create a modern, scalable, and efficient solution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and sustain a reliable payment solution built on Python.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
Technologies - Python, Django, AWS, TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL.
3+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Python.
Proficiency with web frameworks such as Django or Flask.
Familiarity with database systems, especially PostgreSQL, is preferred.
Familiarity with any modern JavaScript framework and Typescript.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Salary:
- For employees: 3500 EUR to 5000 EUR monthly (gross).
- For contractors: 30 EUR to 35 EUR per hour (plus VAT).
