Softeta is an IT consulting and custom software development company that works with mid-sized and large businesses across Europe. We help clients modernize legacy systems, build tailored digital solutions, and prepare their data infrastructure for AI and automation.
We are seeking a senior Java Software Engineer to become a part of the committed Softeta team, which focuses on software development for the fintech business. In this role, you will contribute as a backend engineer to a transformation project by developing an event-driven microservices architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance a Java fintech application;
- Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including planning, coding, testing, and deployment;
- Collaborate with product owners and team members to define project scopes and deliverables;
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices;
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members.
Our technological stack includes Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and AWS.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Java software development;
Strong proficiency in Spring Framework and RESTful API design;
Experience with microservices architecture and cloud deployments;
Experience with Kubernetes;
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in an Agile environment.

Salary range - from 5500 EUR to 7000 EUR monthly before taxes, 35-45 EUR plus VAT for contractors.
