We are looking for a Freelance 2D Game Environment Artist to support the creation of our newest, casual game title on a fully remote basis.
In this role, you will primarily focus on creating high-quality 2D isometric environments, while also contributing to a broader range of visual assets depending on project needs.
You are comfortable working within technical and production constraints, using them to inform efficient and creative solutions. You can deliver polished work within short production cycles and are used to collaborating asynchronously with cross-functional stakeholders such as the Product Manager and Art Lead.
We are looking for someone who understands the casual games space, can quickly adapt to different visual styles, and communicates clearly to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.
**Qualified applicants will be expected to complete a graphics assignment.
Your role:
Create high-quality 2D isometric environments all the way from the concept stage to completion
Follow the style guides and feedback provided by the project Art Lead
Ensure consistency and visual quality of the art you produce
Ensure that all the art is delivered to the team in accordance to the project’s technical requirements
Your profile:
2+ years of experience as an artist within the Casual Games industry with a portfolio to share
Experience with creating 2D isometric environment art
Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
Skilled in high quality visual decision-making and problem solving
Self-starter, experienced in managing your own tasks from concept through completion
Strong communication skills in English
