We are seeking a highly motivated IT Intern who is eager to learn, take initiative, and contribute to meaningful technology and data projects across the organization. This internship offers hands-on experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, software as a service (SaaS) platforms, data analytics, and new AI applications. This is an excellent opportunity for students who want to explore various aspects of the field of Information Technology and discover what excites them while making meaningful contributions to real-world projects.
You’ll work with systems like NetSuite, HubSpot, and Microsoft 365 while gaining exposure to integrations, automations, and emerging AI technologies. The ideal candidate is a quick learner who is eager to dive into new technologies and can work independently with guidance from experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Integration & Automation
· Support integration projects using Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) solutions like Celigo or Zapier
· Enhance data automation workflows in HubSpot and NetSuite
· Assist in connecting various SaaS platforms using APIs to streamline business processes
Business Intelligence
· Generate new business insights through data analysis in Power BI and NetSuite Analytics
· Assist in answering data analysis requests from various departments
· Support dashboard and reporting efforts across multiple platforms
AI & Innovation Projects
· Participate in training AI agents for departmental use
· Assist with AI risks and vulnerability assessments
· Configure appropriate data governance and security applications for new AI use cases.
System Administration & Optimization
· Support NetSuite administration including reviewing and updating internal IDs, fields, forms, and custom records
· Assist with Microsoft 365 cleanup and optimization projects
· Help maintain proper permissions, roles, and titles across NetSuite and Microsoft platforms
· Preparing systems for Machine Learning and Generative AI applications
Qualifications
Required:
· Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Information Systems Management, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
· Ability to learn new technologies quickly with minimal supervision
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
· Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment
· Self-motivated with a proactive approach to challenges
Preferred:
· Lives within driving distance of West Michigan (occasional in-person meetings may be beneficial)
· Experience with or strong interest in learning NetSuite, Microsoft 365 Admin, or HubSpot
· Understanding of SaaS platforms and integration methods
· Interest in AI applications and automation tools
· Experience with iPaaS solutions like Celigo or Zapier
· Completion of courses in Relational Databases, Data Management, SQL, JSON, Reporting and Visualization, SaaS Fundamentals, Process Mapping, Information Systems Management or related course work is strongly desired.
