Sound Agriculture, founded in 2013 by Eric Davidson, PhD, and Travis Bayer, PhD, develops science-backed nutrient efficiency products for agriculture. Our focus is on nature-based solutions that help crops thrive with less synthetic fertilizer.

Our product offerings include:

• SOURCE: A soil activator that improves nutrient availability by activating existing soil microbes, such as nitrogen-fixing bacteria and phosphate-solubilizing microbes. It provides an estimated 25 lbs of N and 25 lbs of P per acre. SOURCE is tank-mix compatible and shelf-stable. It works on crops including corn, soybeans, wheat, cotton, alfalfa, grass hay, sorghum, sugarbeets, canola, and pulses.
• BLUEPRINT: An Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (AMF) product that helps crops reach beyond their roots for nutrients and water. SOURCE activates BLUEPRINT, which can lead to stronger performance.

Our solutions reduce fertilizer reliance, which helps lessen waterway pollution and promote healthier soils. We report replacing over 10,000,000 lbs of N & P, saving growers over $5,000,000, and conducting over 1,500 global trials over a seven-year period.
