Job Description
We are looking for a Data Engineer. He/she will play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing end‑to‑end data solutions within Business Intelligence and Data & Analytics environments. He/She will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to transform business needs into scalable, high‑quality data solutions.
What is this all about?
- Analyses business requirements and design end‑to‑end (E2E) data solutions
- Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines in BI and analytics environments
- Implement transformations, procedures, and tasks in Snowflake
- Design and maintain efficient, scalable analytical data models
- Optimize SQL queries and data processes to improve performance and cost efficiency
- Prepare and expose data for consumption in Power BI and other analytical tools
- Collaborate on the definition of metrics, KPIs, and semantic models
- Work in an Agile / Scrum environment with technical and business teams
- Present progress, solutions, and recommendations to international stakeholders in English
- Document data architectures, processes, and developments, and propose continuous improvements
Qualifications
Who are you?
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer in BI and Data & Analytics environments
- Advanced SQL expertise, including complex queries and procedure development
- Strong experience in analytical data modeling
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake (transformations, procedures, tasks)
- Strong analytical mindset and E2E solution design capabilities
- Ability to work independently, from requirements gathering to delivery
Skills & Behaviours
Fluent in English both writing and speaking.
Excellent communication skills with different audiences.
Capable to lead, pursue and empower as a mentor the agile team.
