Job Description

As an SEO Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of our digital marketing efforts, leading the charge in implementing on-page best practices. Your strategic approach, coupled with a data-driven mindset, will be instrumental in achieving our digital marketing objectives. You will not only identify opportunities but proactively propose and implement solutions to drive the evolution of our global brand’s digital presence.

Collaboration is foundational to this role, as you’ll work closely with product owners, designers, and developers. Through effective cross-disciplinary communication, you’ll role will be key in integrating a global SEO strategy to shape our online visibility.

Your proven track record in SEO, coupled with expertise in tools like Google Search Console, GA4, Sistrix, ScreamingFrog and SEMRush. Your adaptability to industry changes, commitment to continuous learning, and excellent communication skills, especially with non-SEO stakeholders, make you the ideal candidate to lead initiatives across various fields.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct on-page audit (technical and content) of different implementations of the same website.
  2. Create data-driven proposals to improve SEO.
  3. Collaborate with different stakeholders to implement SEO Optimizations.
  4. Monitor and analyze website performance, evaluationting the impact of changes
  5. Provide regular SEO performance reports to different stakeholders.
  6. Stay updated on industry standards and search engine algorithm changes. Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities and challenges.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. SEO Recommendations: Support other teams producing SEO recommendations for campaigns, products and other initiatives. This includes supporting keyword research, analyzing website performance, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  2. Monitoring and Reporting: Collaborate with the SEO team to monitor the performance of SEO initiatives by tracking keyword rankings, visibility metrics, and other performance indicators using tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEM Rush and Sistrix. Help in preparing periodic reports on SEO performance, highlighting key insights and trends.
  3. Keyword Research: Support the markets with their local keyword research by helping them understand and apply a global search strategy.
  4. Content Optimization: Assist in verifying the correct implementation of on-page optimization strategies such as meta tags, headings, and internal linking, based on established guidelines, collaborating with the relevant teams / stakeholders, both at HQ and market level.
  5. Structured Data: Assist developers in verifying the correct implementation of structured data / schemas across all markets and liaise with local markets to ensure proper enforcement.
  6. Market Support and Auditing:  Identify areas of improvement and support corresponding markets in implementing the necessary changes as well as providing guidance on best practices.
  7. URL Redirections and QR Codes:  Set up short URLs/QR Codes in the Blink platform, ensuring smooth integration with our redirections management infrastructure (e.g. Akamai Edge).
  8. Troubleshooting: Assist in troubleshooting SEO-related issues. Conduct basic website audits to identify technical issues, broken links, or other SEO challenges. Provide recommendations based on established guidelines and best practices.
  9. Research and Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, search algorithm updates, and best practices in SEO. Conduct research and analysis on competitor websites and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  10. Documentation: Assist in documenting processes, guidelines, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements:

  1. Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
  2. Familiar with HMTL, CSS and JS coding.
  3. Familiarity with Google tools: Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Lighthouse, Gemini.
  4. Familiarity with SEO/SEM tools: SEM Rush, Screaming Frog, Sistrix.
  5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  6. Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to verify and implement on-page optimization strategies.
  7. Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with teams and stakeholders at both HQ and market levels.
  8. Curiosity and eagerness to stay updated with industry trends, algorithm changes, and SEO best practices.
  9. Ability to conduct research and analysis on competitor websites to identify opportunities for improvement.
  10. Proficiency in documenting processes, guidelines, and best practices for knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications

  1. Proven experience in a similar role.
  2. Expert in Google Search Console and GA4 Demonstrated expertise in implementing complex SEO strategies.
  3. Familiarity with industry tools (Ahref, SEMrush, Sistrix, etc.) Familiarity with HTML, CSS and basic web development.
  4. Excellent communication and collaborative skills, especially for non-SEO stakeholders.
  5. More than 5 years experience, including experience on large companies

Hybrid: 1 day office, 4 remote

Location: Barcelona area only (not the whole country of Spain)
