About the Role
The Media Intern supports the media team in the planning, execution, and evaluation of advertising campaigns across traditional and digital channels. This role is ideal for someone curious about the media landscape, eager to learn, and excited to contribute to real client work in a collaborative environment. The Media Intern will assist with campaign coordination, research, reporting, and administrative tasks that help ensure smooth and accurate delivery of media initiatives.
As a Media Intern, you will be a part of…
Campaign Support
- Assist with trafficking creative assets and ensuring they meet media specifications.
- Help maintain accurate records of media buys, schedules, and campaign documents.
- Monitor campaign delivery and gather performance data for reporting.
Research & Analysis
- Support audience, vendor, and market research to inform media recommendations.
- Compile basic insights and assist in preparing post-buy reports.
Team & Vendor Collaboration
- Communicate with media vendors to request information, gather materials, or confirm campaign details as needed.
- Assist with reconciling vendor invoices against media plans and campaign delivery to ensure accuracy.
- Help track campaign delivery, flag discrepancies, and support resolution with internal teams or vendors.
- Work closely with internal teams to support campaign delivery and operational needs.
- Attend vendor presentations or training.
Administrative & Organizational Support
- Build Familiarity with media tools, software and agency processes.
- Update spreadsheets, tracking documents, and budget summaries.
- Assist with organizing files, timelines, and project materials to keep workflows running smoothly.
Minimum Qualifications
- Interest in marketing, media, advertising, communications, or related fields.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-moving environment.
- Comfortable working in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Curiosity about media channels — traditional, digital, or programmatic — is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to work collaboratively.
- Ideal candidate available at least 30 hours per week.
