Job Description

The Business Optimisation Manager plays a key role in strengthening Direct Sales performance by supporting capability development, planning, reporting, cost management, and continuous improvement initiatives across Consumer and Growth portfolios. The role is primarily responsible for managing and enhancing direct sales capabilities, with a strong focus on sales scripting, while also contributing to the successful delivery of Direct Acquisition programs.

Working closely with senior sales leaders and key stakeholders across the organisation, the Business Optimisation Manager leads the execution of sales capability frameworks, ensures high-quality and timely delivery of initiatives, and identifies opportunities to improve sales and marketing effectiveness to maintain a competitive advantage.

In This Role You Will

  • Review and optimise sales scripts to meet customer needs, regulatory obligations, and competitive positioning.

  • Evaluate and improve the end-to-end customer journey to enhance experience and acquisition outcomes.

  • Conduct competitor analysis and benchmarking to continuously strengthen sales capability.

  • Lead and deliver optimisation projects across Direct Acquisition, ensuring timely execution and alignment with annual operating plans.

  • Maintain program documentation, post-implementation requirements, and governance processes.

  • Collaborate with Consumer and Growth teams to identify and implement further optimisation opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Experience in continuous improvement or project delivery roles, preferably within TAL or a similar organisation.

  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.

  • Effective communicator with proven experience engaging frontline teams.

  • Sound understanding of business unit and organisational policies, procedures, and guidelines.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
